1. What did you already know of the material presented in the lesson?

I already knew about the many different search engines. I also knew that sponsored links are usually trying to sell a product. Knowing the basics of the internet and the world wide web is a given considering I am able to type this right now. Since now-a-days everything is electronic and/or computerized, knowing how to use the internet,more like a computer itself is very useful and pretty much an essential in life now.
