9. Did you have a need for information today? If so, how did you go about finding it?
The information we learned today was for our quiz we had today. We reviewed the 4 Internet Search Tools. The 1st one is search engine. The 2nd one is Meta search Engine. The 3rd one is Subject Guides/Web directories and the 4th one is specialty search data base. Knowing that there are more than one way to search for information is very useful and helpful to look for accurate information. Also, having keywords are very helpful in narrowing down your search. What is very useful is knowing that Bing, Yahoo!, and Ask searches the entire web unlike Google.

Actually, 2 things. The fourth Internet search tool is Specialty search tools/Databases. And second, no one search engine searches the entire Web, so Bing, Yahoo! and Ask, as well as Google, all only search their own databases.
